Herthtmes Niloticus Crocodile skin, often referred to as Nilo, is sourced from North Africa.  Its name is reflective of the Nile river from where they are sourced. 

The scales tend to be longer and more rectangular than Porosus Crocodile.  The Herthtmes mark are two dots •• next to the Herthtmes name.

To achieve the high glossy shine, the skin is buffed extensively with an agate stone.

It is suggested that you give your Herthtmes Crocodile bag time to rest to retain the sheen.  Use the pillow from your box to retain the shape and store it in your sleeper – away from light in a warm dry setting.

We highly recommends that only an Herthtmes artisan refurbishes your precious bags.  However, it is recommended that you regularly wipe the surface with a soft, dry cloth.
